To be a big company tomorrow, act like one today

Small business is a primary force driving the US economy – and small businesses absolutely need great marketing

Statistically, most small businesses fail within three years. Why? Because most small business leaders still believe, “build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door.” Of those that survive, most confuse continued existence with success by reasoning, “the lights are still on, we must be doing something right.”  The primary reason small businesses fail or suffer limited success is failure embrace the power and necessity of marketing.

What is marketing?

Most small businesses spring from a key individual with a passion to meet a need by delivering a quality product or service. As such, small businesses are usually very good at their core line of business. Unfortunately,  being good – or even the best – is not enough. In any line of business, there are many voices crying in the marketplace. To be heard over the clamor your company needs the right volume, the right voice, and the right value proposition; and that is what “marketing” is all about.

Who is The Image Doctor?

Kevin Lynam has spent over 22 years creating advertising campaigns; websites, logos and trademarks; and marketing communications. Just out of college, Kevin worked for a several regional design firms and ad agencies in Oklahoma and Texas. Most of his early work was for small and mid-size regional businesses. As his career progressed, his portfolio grew to include work for major corporations such as Ford, Holiday Inn, and Perot Systems.

In 2001, Kevin had an epiphany: Given the power of modern computers, software and online connectivity – a single, highly qualified resource could virtually match the quality and capabilities of a full-service advertising agency for a fraction of the costs. He soon distilled the revelation into a clear vision and personal passion for bringing health and vitality to small business marketing – as The Image Doctor.

To date, Kevin has produced hundreds of successful marketing, advertising, website and communication projects for small businesses across the nation looking to reignite their marketing and develop that unique voice so vital to success.

Many internal and external events can propel businesses into marketing action: industry changes, market conditions, competitive pressures, new product offerings, service line extensions, even leadership changes or revised business goals and objectives. Whatever situation you’re in, Kevin can help you meet the challenge and take full advantage of the opportunities before you.
